The second round of Local Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (LEVI) funding is now accepting applications for English local authorities.

LEVI funding aids local authorities in England by partnering with the chargepoint industry to enhance the development and commercialisation of local charging infrastructure.

This initiative targets public chargepoints to support residents who lack off-street parking and require charging solutions for their electric vehicles. Key features of the program include:

1.Capital funding for covering the expenses associated with chargepoint installation.

2.Capability funding to help local authorities hire and train personnel dedicated to chargepoint infrastructure implementation

A total of 81 local authorities are eligible to apply for funding allocations. The deadline for expressions of interest is 26th May.
